The ZDHC Foundation is a multi-stakeholder organization comprising of brands, manufacturers, chemical suppliers and solutions providers who collaboratively work towards implementing responsible chemical management across the global fashion and textile industry to detox supply chains and protect workers, consumers, and our planet.
ZDHC assesses the severity of different hazards associated with different chemical usage, identifies inadequate areas of testing (to establish the root of the concerned hazards), develops methodology and tools, creates awareness, and educates the entire supply chain about the chemical handling, their management such as inventory, disposal and substitution with better chemistry, in this way restricting the use of hazardous substances to practical levels.
