FSLM program ১০ টি Section নিয়ে কাজ করে যার মধ্যে ০১ টি Genereal Facility Profile অন্য ০৯ টি Core social and labor Section। প্রত্যেকটি Section এর মধ্যে আবার কিছু Sub-Section রয়েছে । উক্ত Section ও Sub-Section গুলো নিম্মরুপ:

FSLM program টি 03 ধরনের Step নিয়ে কাজ করে। যেমনঃ
• Step 1 Essentials: covers key social & labor compliance questions, mostly connected to International Labor Standards (ILS) and National Labor Law (NLL).
এটি সাধারনত কোন কোম্পানীর শুরুর পর্যায়ে বা ৫০০ শ্রমিকের নিচে যাতে । উক্ত Step 1 Essentials টি Core social and labor Section এর ০৭ নং Section পর্যন্ত Self Assessment করে থাকে ।
• Step 2 Progressive: focuses on management systems and questions that are supportive social & labor compliance questions but less critical. These questions are often found in social industry and certification standards. Step 2 includes all Step 1 questions.
উক্ত Step 2 Progressive টি Core social and labor Section এর ০৮ নং (Management Systems ) Section পর্যন্ত Self Assessment করে থাকে । সাধারনত বেশীরভাগ কোম্পানী Step 2 করে থাকে।
• Step 3 Advanced: covers questions that go above and beyond social responsibility industry standards, are not required by national or international law, and seek to elevate workplace well-being and community impact. Step 3 includes all Step 1 and Step 2 questions.
উক্ত Step 3 Advanced টি Core social and labor Section এর সকল Section পর্যন্ত Self Assessment করে থাকে । যদি আপনার কোম্পানী Minimum Requirement এর বাহিরে ও আরো কিছূ সুযোগ সুবিধা ও Advanced লেভেলের কোন কার্যক্রম বিদ্যমানে থাকে তাহলে আপনি Step 3 তে যেতে পারেন।
